The Sports committee has served the Manaswini College of Nursing since the beginning of its existence. We foresee a dynamic program that positively engages every student and faculty of Manaswini College of Nursing by offering diverse opportunities for the development and growth of the whole person.
We create environment and opportunities that foster sports and instill a sense of belonging. We promote physical fitness, healthy habits and balanced behaviours, improving the overall wellness of participants. We teach students meaningful life skills, encourage personal achievement, and develop involved and responsible citizens.
In fulfilling, we support and complement the institution’s academic objectives, and make significant contributions to the College’s disciplined culture of excellence.
All the sports activities at Manaswini College of Nursing are conducted under the supervision of the Rajiv Gandhi University Sports committee.

OBJECTIVES
- To organize intercollegiate and inter batch competitions in specified games and sports under the hub of Rajiv Gandhi University in par with the RGUHS regulations.
- To select, train and depute the teams collegiate, university and interuniversity tournaments.
- To organize zonal/ inter zonal & inter university tournaments
- To organize coaching and improve the standards of sports and games.
FUNCTIONS
The Registrar is the head of the University Board of Sports, RGUHS, and Bangalore. The RGUHS sports committee is divided into 6 zones. These are Bangalore south Bangalore North, Mysore, Mangalore Belgaum and Kalburgi. Manaswini College of nursing follows the guidelines of Mangalore zone as we are under Mangalore zone.
Mangalore Zonal convener conducts a meeting for all physical Education Directors under the zonal category of colleges which comes under Mangalore Zonal Sports calendar of events prepared.
In the sports calendar the following events are conducted Football (M), Badminton (M& W), Basketball (M&W), Table Tennis (M&W), Cricket (M), Chess(M&W), Kabaddi (M), Volley Ball (M&W), Throw ball& Tennikoit(W) .

Outdoor Facilities: Badminton Court. Tennikoit court, throw ball court, volley ball cricket facility for both casual play and competitive matches, perfect for staying active while having fun and promoting teamwork, fitness, and an active lifestyle.
We also offer a dedicated Table Tennis facility, carrom, chess providing a great way to enhance reflexes, improve coordination, and enjoy a competitive yet fun-filled activity for all skill levels.
